Sr. Drafts Person

Roles & Responsibilities -

• Technical Drawing Creation: Generate detailed technical drawings based on specifications, calculations, and verbal instructions from architects, engineers, or project managers.
• CADD Software Utilization: Proficiently use computer-aided drafting (CADD) software, such as Inventor, Solid Edge, or SolidWorks, to create and modify drawings in alignment with project requirements.
• Calculation Expertise: Perform accurate calculations for materials and weight limitations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Thoroughly check drawings for accuracy and identify and rectify any errors found to meet the highest standards of quality.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicate and explain technical concepts to clients and team members, fostering collaboration and understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
• 3D Modeling: Demonstrate proficiency in 3D tools like Inventor, Solid Edge, or SolidWorks to create detailed and realistic representations of designs.
• Experience and Industry Knowledge: Leverage 10-15 years of experience in the relevant industry to bring insights, best practices, and industry-specific expertise to the drafting process.

Skill sets/ Additional Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in relevant industry with a focus on technical drafting.
• Proficient in CADD software, including but not limited to Inventor, Solid Edge, or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of materials, weight limitations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
