Design Engineer (Female Candidates Only)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop pneumatic conveying systems, considering the specific requirements and parameters of each project.
• Conduct calculations and simulations to determine the system's capacity, pressure drop, and other critical design parameters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of the pneumatic conveying system into larger projects.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis and provide technical recommendations to optimize the system's performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Generate technical drawings, including P&IDs, layout drawings, and equipment specifications, using CAD software.
• Evaluate and select appropriate equipment, such as blowers, dust collectors, separators, and valves, for the pneumatic conveying system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations during the design and implementation phases.
• Assist in the procurement process by preparing technical specifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and conducting technical reviews of equipment.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the pneumatic conveying system, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S4 HANA is preferred.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in pneumatic conveying systems, and apply this knowledge to enhance design methodologies.

Skill sets/ Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (4 to 6 years) in designing and calculating pneumatic conveying systems.
• Familiarity with EPC project-based industry practices and standards.
• Previous experience working in companies like RIECO Industries will be considered a strong asset.
• Proficiency in using engineering software for calculations, simulations, and CAD design (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Edge, ANSYS, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed engineering calculations and simulations.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations related to pneumatic conveying systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently, as well as within a team, to achieve project objectives.
