Loss- in-Weight Batching<\/h3>\n<p>Unlike Gain\u2013in-Weight batching, which measures weight in the receiving hopper after the ingredients have been transported from the feeder, loss\u2013in- weight batching measures the amount of weight loss in the feeder that transports the materials.<\/p>\n<p>Every feeder is installed with a weighing load cell that checks the weight of the materials. When the feeder transfers the materials to the hopper the system keeps track of the materials released by measuring and reducing the weight in the feeder.<\/p>\n<p>The system also allows the feeding of multiple ingredients into a collection hopper in controlled quantities. It performs the key function of simultaneously enabling mixing of various materials thereby enhancing and speeding up the whole process.
